CNL International, Inc. offers you a convenient China visa service by mail. The Chinese consulates do not accept mail-in visa applications at this time, we will submit your visa application to Chinese consulates in person on your behalf, regardless which state you reside. But if you live in Washington, DC, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Houston, you can apply Chinese visa in person. Standard service works the best if you have more than 2 weeks of time. Express service should be used if you have less than 2 weeks. A minimum of 3 business days are needed. Here is an example for a US Citizen. The standard service costs you total of $165; while the Express service costs $215.
You need to send the followings to CNL International, Inc.
Your actual passport. It should be valid for at least 6 months and have at least one blank "Visa" page.

  • For single entry or double entry visa, your first entry date to China must be within 3 months of your application date. For any multiple-entry visa, you can use it to enter China any time before it expires.
  • Visa Application Form. If you cannot open the form, please download the reader here. The old form Q1 is discontinued. Only this new 2-page form is acceptable.

  • One 2"x2" color photo affixed on the visa application form. The consulate accept only STANDARD color passport-type photo with both ears visible. No exceptions.
  • Your money order for the total amount payable to CNL International, Inc.
  • Other required documents as specified in the instruction. Click for Tourist/Family Visit or Business or other types of visa (work, study, transit). Physical exam form is not needed for a tourist visa.
  • BORN IN CHINA - If you were born in China and there is no previous Chinese visa on your current passport, you are required to submit your Chinese passport or last foreign passport. Please send the actual passport. Photocopies not allowed.
  • BORN IN TAIWAN - If you are a US Citizen born in Taiwan, you must provide a copy of your Taiwan passport, or Taiwan official ID or birth certificate.
  • FOREIGN BORN CHINESE CHILD - If you apply a visa for your child under 18, who is a Chinese descent born in foreign country, you must include photocopies of your child's birth certificate and your or your spouse's foreign passport or foreign permanent resident card. Please do not send your originals.
  • NON-US CITIZEN - Must be US permanent resident or H-1 or L-1 visa holder with at least 6-month of validity, a copy of your permanent resident card/I-94 is required. Otherwise, you are required to obtain your China visa in your home country.
  • Citizens of India and Pakistan - Please also provide your bank statement with your application.
  • X, Z, D or J-1 VISA HOLDER - The applicant shall go through residential formalities in the local public security department within 30 days of the entry date.

We cannot be responsible for any delay caused by unmet requirements or denial of visa by the consulate. Our processing and delivery fees are non-refundable. We use USPS priority mail or FedEx to deliver your documents; therefore, any loss or delay are subject to the rules and policies of FedEx or USPS solely.
